Scrolling the map

Post by Banquet »

I just bought the game on Steam, but it looks like I'm going to be refunding. I can't scroll the map effectively on the touchpad of my laptop. Like most touchpads, it double taps for right click, but then you can't drag. I can click in the lower right to drag but this is very uncomfortable and (due to being in the lower right of the touchpad) I can scroll down or right, only up and left.

I'm surprised there is no keyboard control of scrolling, such as arrow keys, wasd, numpad, etc. I'm just checking in to see if there is something I'm missing before I request Steam give me a refund?

You mean the strategic map?

Right click and drag to scroll.

Edit: sorry, your touchpad has no buttons associated?

WASD and the arrow keys work in the battle map.

I have similar issues, but I don't bother scrolling the map with the touchpad, I right click the zone I'm interested in on the list at the side and get into focus that way.

Edit: My touchpad doesn't have buttons either, but i can still use 2 fingers to scroll whilst 'right clicking'.
