If there is another titan with this name already, I'll change it. If you have a better name than "Omega", I'll change it. I've personally found this to be the best design I've made. It was based on the Apparition, but I think it has been modified enough to whack my name on it.

Slight to moderate heat problems if you are moving and shooting everything at once. Hold off on firing for about 2-5 seconds or ease off on the melee and heat problems are non-existant to slight. (Admittedly, this could just be because of my aggressive playing style.)

I've made literally dozens of recon and light titans, but this one stands out as being a notch above most of my designs which were really just testing concepts.

Omega Alternate A:
Change LowT to 27 AP of Vicenium, change CBT to 20 AP of Dullaroy, move D.C.S to CBT.

This alternate is a matter of taste really. I personally prefer the 'default' Omega over it simply because hits to the CBT seem to happen more frequently than to the LowT. (At least on my machine.)

Those MGs at point blank will eat up a lot of your heat dissipation.
The CBT has the exact same to hit probability of the CT, so yes, it should be more hit than the LoT. That's why a CC design should have good CBT protection [;)]

Any good CC AT is going to spend some time on the ground at point blank to the enemy, low CBT is an invitation to knock him out with a single AC20 or TB.

According to my calcs (and these are just calcs, and not counting the heat reg tuning possible bonus), firing everything and running creates close to 6.5C/sec; at point blank it goes up a bit. 2.76 is not really enough to fire either the PLs or the MGs at point blank, without moving.
There is actually a somewhat similar design, the Pulsar (Sparrowhawk), with 3 PLs, which is superior IMO.
I would try to move the MG from the CT to somewhere else, having ammo dependent weapons in the CT (gyro) or the location of the engine is not a good idea.
