All right Larkin, Marga and crew questions

Post by LonChaneyJr »

1. What resolution(s) will the game support?

2. Are you going to keep the windowed and DX modules or go completely to DX?

3. Will battle field titan graphics give you indication of what type of weaponry they mount or will the fog of war remain?

4. Will the unit graphics be visible enough to support something like a custom paintshop or other user customization?

1. What resolution(s) will the game support?

truecolor, 24bit We are looking into increasing the resolution but no promises yet.

2. Are you going to keep the windowed and DX modules or go completely to DX?

The game will have windowed and full screen. But this will be switchable in-game if I understand correctly using the command (alt-w ). players won't have to worry about which they are using hopefully.

3. Will battle field titan graphics give you indication of what type of weaponry they mount or will the fog of war remain?

The titans will look like they have weaponry but players will have to get a good scanner report for full details. All of the graphics except a few very minor details are getting upgraded. Right now almost all of the graphics are complete. In the factory you get to choose between 20 chassis styles. So when you design a titan and choose a look you like then you'll see that model as a rendered sprite in the game. Pick a Juggernaut style in the factory and you will be playing a Juggernaut style titan on the battlefield.

4. Will the unit graphics be visible enough to support something like a custom paintshop or other user customization?

They are visible enough for me to work on them. it mainly depends on whether the game gets the graphics off the cd or off the hard drive. Someone else can probably answer this better than I.
