UFO: Extraterrestrials is a futuristic real-time/turn-based strategy blend set on the fictional planet of Esperanza in 2025. Hello,

I was a fan of the X-COM series, and ever since I've been looking for a turn-based game similar to the first UFO: Enemy Unknown (or XCOM: UFO Defence for you Amis) game that could be played by two or more players either in hotseat or PBEM mode.

Does this game have multiplayer support? Judging from the lack of multiplayer threads, I'm assuming the answer is "no", but one can hope! Also, are there any mods that might make it possible to play this game against a friend? I'm talking about the tactical battles, of course, not the base/resource/force management system.
