New Editor for Time of Fury

Time of Fury spans the whole war in Europe and gives players the opportunity to control all types of units, ground, air and naval. Not only that, each player will be able to pick a single country or selection of countries and fight his way against either the AI or in multiplayer in hotseat or Play by E-Mail. This innovative multiplayer feature will give player the chance to fight bigger scenarios against many opponents, giving the game a strategic angle that has no equal in the market. The game uses Slitherine’s revolutionary PBEM++ server system.

New Editor for Time of Fury

Post by doomtrader »

We have updated the Time of Fury editor.

There is a new build available here:
http://www2.wastelands-interactive.com/ ... or_New.rar

We have limited the functionalities to map management only, but this allowed us to easily adapt it to Windows 8 also.

Please let us know is it working fine for you.

Edit: You can download the editor from your Member's area:

Thanks very much, I will give this a try over the next few days, I had been delaying any more attempts to edit scenario maps, but this may help a lot and I will be using it in Windows 8.1. [:)]

TOF works so well with Windows 8 and a touch screen, even though it is sometimes difficult to start, I am persevering with 1.05beta and am looking forward to adapting some more of the scenarios.

Thanks again, are there any new features, or is this just to resolve the CTD issues. [:)]

I am starting the editor with the 'Editor' application with the Wastelands icon (which runs OK), not the 'Time of Fury Editor' with the TOF icon, as this does not work for me.

Downloaded it again and both "Editor" and "Time of Fury Editor" crash and the crash log is the same. It's looking for that

Got the editor to run but it's missing a lot. No Scenario Strip and three buttons are missing...

We have let only those things in the editor which are not accessible with other software (excel, notepad).
This allowed us to make it error-free.

Oh too bad. I never had any luck with your other methods of editing. The CSV file format has always screwed me up and never worked. I don't have time for this anymore. You were so close to having a great game here. Oh well it's back on the shelf for me.
