For what little this all may be worth: I find the system easy and fun, and the scenarios interesting, except that in Ardennes it seems nearly impossible for the Germans to win against a moderately capable opponent. Is it possible to change Victory Conditions or VP sites? For example, since Bradley was "demoted" to controlling the southern half of the battlefield how about adding VP's to the Germans for getting, say, three divisions west of a certain hex? Since the attack disrupted Allied plans for an offensive, how about adding a VP gain to the Germans for each division diverted to stop them? The Allies would have to budget, selecting to take a reinforcement for a certain cost, rather than them all being freebies? Also, it is unclear what purpose there is to units which can be activated only by a certain time or by proximity of the enemy when there is no VP gain or loss to either side. Again, the Allies would have to consider using these units carefully.
