Windowed mode

Commander – Europe at War Gold is the first in a series of high level turn based strategy games. The first game spans WW2, allowing players to control the axis or allied forces through the entire war in the European Theatre.

Windowed mode

Is there anyway to have the game retain it's windowed mode after exiting - I've tried modifying the various settings files that contain "WINDOWED_MODE " but no avail as the game always starts in fullscreen.

Also the resolution in fullscreen does not scale well on a 1920 by 1080 screen size - text is too large, scaling on units is wacky, etc.. Anyway to play with the video settings?
