Before I start a full campaign with some buddies I thought I could get some recommendations on books that covered this period?

Any recommendations gents?

Swords Around a Throne by Elting is great.
The classic is Napoleons Campaigns by Chandler, an eye watering $65 on kindle.
You may be able to pick up a hard cover on Amazon or ABE cheaper.

A fun historical fiction series with lots of real history in it is the Sharpe series by Bernard Cornwell
