Re: A World Ablaze (3-player game)
Increase our air combat value by one. Abort air to air combat after first round. Abort Sea area.

Impulse #9 (Allies)
Rail movement:
USA:
MIL (New Orleans) -> San Francisco
USSR:
Vatutin (HQI) is transferred from the Belarus front to the Finnish front (35,51).
The Gorki militia is activated, and railed to Changchun.
Land movement:
Edit: Forgot to mention that the Chinese Communists moved one unit in the Angkang area and it became disorganized. And the Chinese Nationalists moved one CAV the hexes SE from Kweiyang, moved the AA one hex and that disorganized it.
USSR:
- Vatutin orders an offensive as soon as he arrives to the newly created army group. However, the weather does not permit any real advancements into Finland. One corps advance one hex and becomes disorganized, and the ski troops advance another hex.
- The Soviet Marines advance a couple of hexes northwards and enters southern Estonia.
- The 4th Airborne Corps advance closer to the front in Belarus, and are made mission ready.
- Minor adjustments of the lines across all fronts.
CW:
The Royal Marines liberate Stavanger.
the Australian first corps advance two hexes towards Asmara, and become disorganized.
USA:
MOT advance a couple of hexes towards the front in Morocco.
Debark:
CW:
MOT -> Kristiansand
USA:
2 MIL -> Casablanca
Air rebase:
USSR:
LND4 Vitebsk -> 44,52 (A couple of hexes westwards)
LND3 Mukden -> 69,153 (A few hexes southwards)
CW:
LND2 (Central India) -> S Burma
FTR2 (Malta) -> 82,41 in Libya
Reorganization:
USSR:
Koniev reorganize one LND4 in Ukraine

Re: A World Ablaze (3-player game)
The Axis surrender. The Allies are headed for an easy win in this game. You both played very well and took advantage of all of my mistakes, of which there were several. The two biggest were the Italian fiasco in Algeria and the poorly planned Norwegian campaign. The Japanese campaign hung by a thread but the weather turning sour in September 1941 along with your timely counterattack on their supply lines did them in.
Re: A World Ablaze (3-player game)
The most interesting thing about this game (to me) was the China theater. I have never seen a game like this, where first the Chinese got surrounded, and then the Japanese did.
I thought I knew how to play this game....
