How to play multiple games with multiple maps

Post by scout1 »

Several of the map mod's are more than graphic upgrades, rivers added, rail moved, etc .....

How does one go about playing say 3 1939 scenario's using three different map/data sets ?

Obviously any opponent would need the same map(s) ..... Do these mod's raise any obvious issues with the AI ?

A mod with different graphics means you need to also install the mod on your side so you have the graphics. If they just changed them it shouldn't be a problem. But if they added to the list of resources or terrains then it is a problem.

Whoever starts the game uses their scenario to play the game.

The internal A.I. is tactical. It requires scripting to give it direction strategically. If they only changed the graphics and maybe tweaked a few scripts the A.I. should be fine. But if they rearranged locations and drastically modified the map you might have problems as the A.I. works off of important locations.
