Yugoslavia and Sweden joining Axis

Post by Hadros »

Back to this game after a while.
As playing as the Allies my opponent got Yugoslavia and later Sweden to join the Axis with diplomats.
How does that work/do you achieve that?

My opponent created the game.
Didn't even know it was possible to do that.
I thought it was in an update.

I’m curious-

Did you find your opponent on steam?

I created a game with diplomacy off and had an opponent turn it on in game and not tell me then got yugo to join him.

When I inquired he quit

That is why we need a feature allowing us to send a small electric shock to our opponent under certain conditions!

It also happened to me against an opponent, I don't remember the name, but when I got the message about approaching the axis of a neutral nation, I activated diplomacy and countered it.

If both players have diplomacy activated and are attentive to their opponent's diplomatic moves, to act accordingly, diplomacy does not change anything.
My native language is Spanish, and no English language mastery, sorry.

I general leave diplomacy turned ON, but no first use. Had the occasion recently in a game as the Axis to use during the 2nd turn. Made the Yugo's an offer they couldn't refuse. Shocker was that Italy immediately became an active ally. Is this a bug or a feature. This also seems to be happening when the Yugo's are conquered before the France 1940 campaign.

I joined a game from within Warplan, not Steam
