Two questions

Post by boldairade »

How does Russian experience work?

Specifically, does it make sense to launch a curtailed Barbarossa in 41 with limited goals, or is a player better off waiting until 42 and trying it then?

Also

How does weather affect naval detection?

Does it make sense to sortie the German surface fleet in a winter storm?

I always seem to do that, but I’m not sure it has ever helped me.

Thank you for any responses.

Russian experience gains slowly due to combat.
So the more battles you are in early the better chance it has to grow...until it hits 50%. That is for land, sea and air experience.

I believe weather is supposed to make naval units harder to find but I Hever never read anything about how it effects the search.
I would always want to leave port in heavy rain is possible to avoid air...but that is super rare.
