If you want to mod, you can create roads. My current PBEM allows such in modest amounts and within certain boundaries. please PM me if you want specifics on how to do it, because you can do it ---- immediately and in your current games if both players agree.

I'm interested, but I'm not going to ask my current opponent to do anything like that, and if you tell me now, I'll forget it. I think my thread title should be sufficiently searchable. Do you have an objection to posting it here? That way you won't have to do it over and over again for everyone who asks. [:)]

Hey, I was a History major too. We CAN learn something about PCs. Takes a lot of whipping and cold baths, but it can be done. [:'(]

.. an approach where both players would change their map files, together, once a game year or so, to reflect the new roads/RRs. I don't know how well that works.
I do this in my mod. Since "how well" is very qualitative, I will just state that I can get it to work. I plan to have to eventually have 8 files, meaning a file switch every 6 months to allow for partial progress. (ALCAN for example)
