Man, do I miss our old friend Alfred. I'd hope he'd let bygones be bygones and join us again sometime soon, the same with others that had left for various reasons.

japan need all his transports but convert 10APs in ARs just at the beguining is worth just put 5 of thouse ARs in a port and your japan carriers will fixed.

AR's only fix ships with 5 major damage or lower....GP

Convert the cargo (xAKs) to ARs, leave the transports (xAPs) alone - unless you are playing a mod where the xAPs can be converted to aircraft carriers.

If wading through the details of ship repairs are not your way to learn, here is a 12 minute podcast that will teach you the content contained in this excellent, but very detailed discussion.

Call me crazy, but I learned a few things by taking the information in a different format. :o
