Corps card

Post by Admiral Delabroglio »

Hello

When playing the "Coprs" card, you can bring up to 5 units and a general from a single army in the same region, or from an adjacent one

I noticed that the general in charge of the fight for my army seems to be the original one, and not the one from the reinforcements, even if the latter one is better.

Is it intended, or is it an oversight ? Maybe a named general in the reinforcing army should trump a generic one that was present earlier. Maybe Napoleon should trump named and random generals. Or maybe the better general should be put in charge.

Best regards

I don't remember discussing this with Glenn Drover way back in development. But, it's how I programmed the game to operate, and we went through testing using this arrangement. The short answer is that I *think* that this is what Glenn intended. The longer answer is that, frankly, that is how the game is programmed and we are stuck with it now.
