Strategm for supply through allied territory

Post by Xebec »

Would like a strategy card you can play that lets you send supply through allied territory. The card would basically let you pay per turn for X turns to supply your units on the allies roads and/or even traverse their territory.

Simply put sometimes your units get stuck behind friendly lines when that wouldn't happen in a 3+ way war.

Nice idea. Maybe it could work sort of like the pact cards as a card set and need to be agreed to by the ally player.
  • Limited Transit Rights: Allow limited LP (500) to extend into allied territory
  • Expanded Transit Rights: Allow significant LP (2000) to extend allied territory
  • Right of Passage: Allow units to traverse allied territory
  • Reduce traversal level by one

Would inter-regime logistics, as in an actual road connection *across* the border, have to be a thing, then?

Agreed - the options could be varying amounts of max logistics points for a certain sum of money. They can be 'magic' points on top of the ally's natural LPs, so it's not gameable, or maybe you use your own trucks and their roads temporarily count as yours for calculation purposes, so it's even less gameable. Swapping territory tiles would also be nice, but I think it's a lot of work to avoid exploits.
