[1.20d]Potential Seniority Rank issues

Post by zgrssd »

I went for a bit of a wide leader selection (I was hoping of getting enough Faction Members).

That resulted in me having 8 people with 0 Seniority points - that have Seniority Ranks of 3-28.
Noticeably there is nobody with Rank 0.
And the guys with the same number have a pretty big range.

That does not seem right.

If everybody has 0 Seniority Points, there will be somebody with 99 (or similar) seniority rank. The rank is relative and an indication where they stand in the picking order compared to the others.

Best wishes,
Vic

1.21b here
1rst turn :

They all seem to be spaced 12.5% (rounded) Seniority rank apart, with lowest at 38% (with 0 Seniority Points)... seemingly contradicting also the manual :
3.13.1. THE LEADER POPUP
[...]
The Seniority Rank varies between 0 and 100. 100 means it is the most senior Leader and 0 the least senior Leader.
[...]
5.8.1.2. OTHER KEY STATS
[...]
Seniority Rank
This is a relative measure. The rank can be between 0 and 100. If at 100,
it means this Leader is the most senior Leader in your service. Relieving
Leaders of their functions impacts the Relation of all your Leaders. A Leader
with high Seniority has much more impact on the others than one with low
Seniority. Seniority is slowly build up depending on the Job Prestige of the
Job you assigned them to.
[...]
So shouldn't they instead be spaced 100/(6-1) = 20% apart, from 0% to 100% ?

This of course had an impact on how easy it is to get rid of the least Senior members...

(FYI, the 50% and 62% Seniority Leaders here both have 7 Seniority Points.)

Might we also get a Seniority Points column ?

Hmm, I started another game, looks a little bit more spread out... though min Seniority still isn't 0%... and now max Seniority isn't 100% any more ?!
