Dyle Line

Just started a PBEM game as the allies and the Dyle line thing has me a bit foxed
Does the BEF have to man that river or lose points and is it marked as such as i cant
see any obvious markinga and the rules are a little vague and i imagine if i dont go
to the river i will lose points
