ORIGINAL: Q.M
Any further word on Win10 compatibility yet with the originals and mods?

The only issue with Windows 10 is if you play WaR, TLD, or LSA on Windows 10 you need to play in windowed mode, not full screen. You can set your windowed display size to your full screen size and get effectively the same thing, however. This is due to Windows 10 changes to the way DirectX full screen 16-bit color works.

Is it the same for windows 7? I have a cd of CC2 , but it won’t even launch , an error message occurs. Can you actually launch in windows mode or is that an option you chose once the game is launched ? Or can it not be played on windows 7?

makes sure you install all the pre requisites that the game needs to run with, what ever it is and no matter how old etc

Image

matters little if you have DirectX 12 on your pc if the game needs V9.0c etc, as none of them are backwards compatible either, so if a game needs 8, 9, 10, or 11 on windows 10, install it, it's that simple
