Any chance you can revert to the code from the previous stable build until the issues address in this thread are resolved?

We hope to be able to release another update soon. It will be a significant release for a number of reasons. Unfortunately we are unable to provide an ETA at the moment.

Is it not a good idea to release some beta versions before the final?

There are some good people in the forum detecting bugs.

Sounds good Dimitris. Is there anything we can do better when testing beta releases to flag items we feel are game breaking before they are pushed into the next stable release?

Or at least a hotfix for the mission issues. I rarely sit around waiting for a patch to continue playing, but the mission issues make using or building any scenario with more than simple air missions close to impossible. This month long semi-forced hiatus is the longest I've gone without doing anything "constructive" in CMO.

Take as much time as you need, there is a lot to fix (especially what used to work well and now doesn't). We need a stable version as a starting point.

If I understand Dimitris correctly, it will not be only a bug fixing version.

They are not afraid of more trouble

I'm usually not that good at reading between the lines, but yes this is how I've read it too. But I don't know what to make of it.

I am curious and afraid at the same time.

A new patch is listed and nobody said anything?

18.1, so only a hot-fix? What is new?

It's a very minor update that fixes this: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1076160/ ... 671819791/

It should be included on the next update release.

The size of this new patch is again more than 700 Mb, I think the community pack is still included.

Is it safe to assume that the next build will enter beta for a while before going live? If so, is reverting to the previous live build an option at this point? CMO playability has been severely degraded since the release last month and I’m guessing it could be weeks or months until the next release is pushed to the masses.

Yes I've actually had to pause playing for over a month, my longest pause in more than a year lol. I have gotten some things done around the house though, so there's that haha

I saw the 1328.18.1 was Steam only. But my install never update. The Matrix start up and the game itself still lists 1328.18 as the version. Is that correct?

Yes, the exe was unchanged, there was only a small tweak on the fileset.

+1
My Matrix version recognized the need and updated to 18.1 last night, but after a successful update the game still says it's .18

That must be because the exe was not updated, the version is embedded in the exe.

Edit: Sorry, did not read Dimitris answer.
