There is an occasional problem with the way the game selects a supply route. In this example I noticed that there was a great discrepancy in the amount of supplies received by units in adjacent hexes. The units in the hex indicated by the 56th artillery battalion received far fewer supplies than the units in the hex indicated by the 445th AA battalion although they are adjacent hexes connected by a road. So I checked the supply route for both hexes. Supplies to the southern hex were straightforward and supplied a good amount of supplies, but for the northern hex instead of just going north one hex it took a long route southwards to a large supply depot, which provided 80 APs to the route, then it went east to the eastern edge of the map, then it went north along the map edge until it was as far north as the target hex and then west from the map edge to the target hex.

The supply center provided 80 APs, but the route used many more APs, which is why the units in the nothern hex got very little in the way of supplies.

One should be able to assign a supply depot to a division or Corp, Army should be the map edge. The supply system is so complex and kaddywhompus that it's a game stopper, IMHO. The Allies seem easier, but the German supply is a nightmare. KISS = Keep It Simple S ....
