T1 Air Losses
I lost only 7 German Fighters turn 1. The rest of the fighters were Axis Minor allies. I did fly escort on 90% of my bomb runs and it seems the AI knows the ones that aren't guarded.... Lost a few more bombers than I liked. I am happy with the bombing and I wasn't going to take the time to get the 7,000 aircraft destroyed with over 264 German fighters lost. I will stick with my 4,500ish and 7 German fighters lost
Love ya K62 but you know how I feel about my German fighters
Bombing runs keyed on Soviet Fighters. Soviet bombers flying unescorted are easy prey.

Could you share the ground phase air losses?

Yes, game is still going on. I should have turn 18 tonight I believe since Chaos is trying to get to turn 25 quickly to kick my azz

Keen to hit T25 so the Soviet Army and Economy gets some time to recover lol

It would be nice to see a front line trace, even without units.

I can give a look into the future and show turn 19 front line when I get home from work later this afternoon. Chaos has done very well.

I have been plagued by rain, rain, rain, and you guessed it rain forever. All of Mother Russia should be a swamp by now.

This is T19 Front line Beginning of Turn 19. Current weather is pretty much heavy mud across all the front except in front of Rostov. I have not done much for about 5-6 turns now. But will cover that in detail when I get there but just giving a glimpse into the future even though I have not done turns 2-18, LOL.

Have not built many units and I have 29 AP this turn to spend. Will get into detail what I did later, if anyone wants to know that is.

Re: The End is Near - HLYA(AXIS) vs Chaos45(Soviet)
Turn 19 VPs are 662. I wanted to play "sudden death" but Chaos put in "No Early End". As such I played differently than I would have for a "sudden death" match. I am basically playing to go into 42 to set a decent high-water mark to try and defend.
In a nutshell I went center along with concentrating my rail repair there. I ignored Leningrad and it was a good thing I did since it has been rain since turn 5 or 6 all the way to turn 19.

With that said I hope this helps out while I try and get time to update in detail. Just work kills me with me leaving at 6am in the morning and coming home around 5:30 - 6pm

Hopefully on my trip I get to update this AAR some. We are on Turn 27 now (blizzard), which I hope to finish tonight/tomorrow at the latest. Figured I would give an update and ask if this is good freight for Turn 27 blizzard. Of course 1st PZ is lacking because I didn't start the rail to them until way late & 6th Army is way forward. But overall what do you think on the freight?
Not getting many replacement men to the front either, am I?

Re: The End is Near - HLYA(AXIS) vs Chaos45(Soviet)
By turn 27, resupply to some extent is going to be dependent on not just how many units are close to depots, but also how many heavy snow hexes the supply trucks have to traverse. Obviously if it's some distance to resupply panzer or motorized divisions, you will tend to struggle more as vehicles break down and the repair numbers climb. So it's very situational and the supply numbers of the log report only tell a small part of the story.
Re: The End is Near - HLYA(AXIS) vs Chaos45(Soviet)
M60---you are correct but he received over 110k replacements and basically all of his armies received more supplies than required.....
I can assure you from the other side most of his units in contact with Soviet forces are still completely Green on Supply and Ammo---i check lol.
So far the steady 2-3 hex per turn German retreat is working flawless to prevent the Soviets from doing much of anything across basically the entire front.

Most of my army is on supply 3, not all, but most since the start of blizzard.chaos45 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2024 11:06 pm M60---you are correct but he received over 110k replacements and basically all of his armies received more supplies than required.....
