Can a save in a multiplayer game get corrupted and lead to strange results?

In a multiplayer game, V 1.02.52beta is it possible, that a save gets corrupted in a way that combat results are changed from what they should be?
My opponent got rather frustrated and put the blame on a corrupted save.

We, or better: I had two times a crash of the game in the first turns, then everything was as usual.
I personally did not see any results that were not in the usual range.

BTW: looking for a new opponent on the long one ...

Your opponent claims a corrupted save changed the combat results to their detriment? It sounds like your opponent may enjoy some cheese with their 'whine'.

Concerning dogs, you have to teach them Frustration Tolerance, which many owners do.

After doing a rematch, we came to the conclusion, that it should not have been a corrupted file ...

... sadly the rematch ended in turn 4.
