Thanks for this. Having lived WiTE1 since it came out and been involved in WiTE2 for the last 6+ months at times I can't see the wood for the trees. It is always good to get an outsiders point of view.

The "letstalkaboutwargames.wordpress" review mirrored my feeling towards this game. Part of its brilliance is that the player can immerse himself as much or as little as he wishes. That's only part of its brilliance mind you. I have been playing wargames since the mid-1970s, - I've played just about all of them - and this one is the most pleasing experience so far. Truly a masterpiece. I have played nothing else since it came out. Very satisfying!
