Dear Joel.

I have emailed the save, with instructions for you.

All you have to do is run the current air missions for the turn. (already set up for you)

I have run the turn myself about a dozen times. Have yet have the VVS intercept one Luftwaffe Airbase Attack.

The save I sent has attacks set up against 3 different Soviet Airbases.

Two of the airbases has 4 or more groups of Soviets fighters based. The third is only Soviet bombers.

Following is one of the Airbases the Luftwaffe attacked six(6) times without the VVS intercepting.

The following view of the airbase was obtained from the editor, after the air attacks had taken place.

Following shows a good stockpile of freight at the defending airbase.

And the CR report of the Airbase attacks from the German turn.

If I was the Soviet player, this would really bother me that I had fighters based at the airbase and none of them responded to any of the six different attacks.

And for me it is realistic for the initial stage of the war.

Another thing is if they were put on a SUP mission and could not find someone. Then there are problems.

Secondly, I do not quite understand the essence, it is quite possible that these fighters have the status of rest, which seems to prevent them from taking off for interception.

Putting AS over VL led to intercepts. Also, not directly assigning the units or AOGs to the GS AD led to intercepts. It appears that when assigned directly to a GS AD, they are not available for auto intercepts. You may have to leave them unassigned, or fly AS ADs.
