Can I deselect a single unit in hex after (f) select all?

Post by jack54 »

I may be misremembering this but I thought I could deselect a single unit after F hotkey by left clicking image in the right panel....

Example 3 infantry in hex with Artillery. Hot key F sects all 4, left click artillery, leaving all infantry selected ready to move.

Thanks btw I'm using 1.0.4 beta

Hi,

Yes, you can, and you've found a bug in 1.0.4 beta (congratulations! :D).

Clicking on units in the right hand display will add/remove them from the stack BUT the right hand panel is not
updating. It still works though, and clicking one unit will remove it from the selected units.
If you scroll up and down the right panel, it will update to show which units are selected or unselected (darkened) - if there are enough units on the right to scroll of course.

If you use the new click move, you can select/unselect on the bottom of the screen (which does correctly show selected units).

Anyway, will fix.

Thanks,
Brian
