RE: Matrix let down

<t> BB bombard well if you recon. This is another part of the game that is not glamorus but needed. You don't just pull up and kill everybody. You don't need BB's to kill transports. They are great plane magnets if TF and shrug off bombs pretty well, torps do bother them, but later in the war thier ...

<t> What in the world were you doing close blockade with BB's. There is nothing in Manila that can't be sunk with a Ca DD flotilla. There are many choke points away from Batan. The slow speed of the AK make them easy targets. Set you reaction to 2, more than likely you tried to bombard Batan and got...

RE: RAMMING SPEED!

Water can cause shells to ricochet, also shatter high velocity rds. Your right 28mm shouldn't stop anything mounted on combat ships, but water will cause esp high velocity rounds to ricochet.

<t> All throught the war years many movies were made about the different groups of soldiers, sailors, airmen and such. My favoirites were Battle for the North Atlantic featuring Humphrey Bogart. In future updates or Mods can sunk BB's be raised if they are sunk in a shallow harbour like Pearl. I believe IRL there were 5 BB's sunk at PH. Only the Arizona was a total loss. Even the Ok. was righted, but was felt not worth to be rebuilt.

One more from Sand Pebbles:

Capt threatens to shoot Holman if he doesn't shut up. Holman replies "Well shoot somethin" Then take the rifle and shoots Po Han. I was always a Steve McQeen fan, but became a Mako fan after that movie.
