i would also strongly suggest to allow refueling systems (like on Tankers) on Spaceports so ships that want only fuel dont need to dock and undock all the time but can be refilled in space around the station. In my last game since the dlc, my auto raid fleets were not chasing down AI fleets very well. I've had frequent instances of invasions happening with fleets sitting around doing nothing. In some cases just one system away. I don't know if this is something I am doing wrong eg maybe with the sensors...

I feel notifications are in general bugged to high fuck. Pardon my French. If you close that horrorshow of icons, then see that one tab has messages, click the tab, no messages. Only way to be halfway sure you're seeing notifications is if you leave the "all" tab open along with that eyeso...

Distant World's Gratuitous Space Battles... I'd play~! Space Empires had a sort of combat arena you could try out different designs in to see how they worked against various enemies. Clearly not the time to work on it, but given the automated nature of the game, it might even be an interesting side...

So I was thinking about a ship scale mod for Space Empires IV I used to play that also had some interesting ship designs, eg a massive rail gun mount that ran almost the length of the ship. That kind of thing. So if you look at the US Navy a Battleship is about 5-10 times the tonnage of a Destroyer....

Can't see troop numbers because of so many characters on fleet

As per title. When I have a large fleet, or a moderately successful fleet, I acquire a lot of Generals, so many in fact I can't see how many troops I have. Hilarious we still don't have an ingame explanation of engagement ranges for fleets, isn't it? How long is a piece of string? Sector range. Okay, the rest are self-explanatory maybe but at least in DWU, you knew what a sector was. I'm not so sure it is hilarious... ;) ...but you can to some degree ...

I agree with this, but... what is your choice? Many/smaller fleets? I find that to be a pain,too, when I have many ships. That's why you automate most of your fleets and only manually control one or two. You have no chance against the AI if you're trying to coordinate your 6 fleets against their th...
