Trying a game with diplomacy, and it seems the Axis are getting large percentage gains with their diplomatic points compared to 1% for the Allies. How does diplomacy actually work?

I tried running Warplan as administrator and I tried disabling my Norton Anti-virus, but no luck. It says my login is successful, then I get the General Error message. Very frustrating not being able to save a game!

Where do I find the outputlog?
