Re: Why move SC ACW from the top of the new releases section

IslandInland wrote: Sat Jul 02, 2022 1:21 pm This is the quietest I have ever seen the forum of a newly released StratCom game. The fact it has been folded back into the StratCom series section might explain that.
It should be their top seller at the moment.
What a more than strange decision to hide the new release.

Date / Time

I have just purchased and so I am only starting.
But: I do miss a DATE and TIME number (maybe near the day cycle).
So common in games, that I am looking instantly for this.
Have I missed setting, maybe?

Thanks for the work, Thorgrimm.
Hopefully Alvaro can use this to bis advantage. This is not WitP, but for the purpose of „immersion“ he should use, what he can.

Political ?

Do not know, whether it has been asked before, but I would like to know, what this „political staff“ in the SS units is.
Never heard about such a thing. The number of NSFOs should not be in the hundreds. [:D]

Same problem here.[&:]
Why this???
Which file do you have modified to change it back?

I find the unit counters and the text not very clear. Which resolution had worked best for you?

RE: Unit/OOB naming & labeling

Read guard macht entfernt auch Sinn.
Gibt es eine Division / ein Regiment, welche mit „Nachtruppen“ bezeichnet wird?

Pz501 hat schon recht. Solche Fehler sollten korrigiert werden.

Maybe the „Nachtruppen“ means „Reserve“ or „Ersatz“ ?
I do not have the game yet, so only a guess.

My fault. [8|]
I had not changed the counter set in options ...
The counter set has no influence on terrain and industry icons, but obviously on units.
I was not aware of that.

But thanks for your time to respond and the fine art.[:)]

RE: Supply via Uboat

My question was more in the direction, whether it should be possible, the uboats supply land units. Divisions maybe, but corps?
20000 to 30000 men! Probably not.

Supply via Uboat

<t> In a YT-Video the player used uboats to reinforce corps (!), that were isolated on coast hexes.<br/> A sub icon is around 15 subs. If one sub is able to deliver 50t of supply, then that means 700t.<br/> These have to be shipped without a harbour (!) to the coast. Since a Corps means 20000 men, e...

I would like to use the mod, but the ship pictures are missing in the game (???).
The units-file, which I downloaded from the dropbox is not containing any ship pictures? Correct?

RE: Historical Project Phase II

Thanks for investing the time and effort to try this.
The removal of the corps and their transfer to Divisions sounds good.
You and some other enthusiasts are quite a strong component in the development of the game.
Thanks for that, too. [&o]
