Re: Imperial Japanese Player Needed

I reached out to Lowpe a little while ago and I believe he has a full plate at the moment. I would need to reach out to Rader, to see if they're interested.

Re: Imperial Japanese Player Needed

Hi Historical gamer, I've been following your series, great content and commentary, and would be interested in playing against you as Japanese and post replays on YT. However, late April '42 is IMO too late for me to salvage the situation in regards to production, R&D and objectives. Others may...

Imperial Japanese Player Needed

Hey everyone, My name is Matthew and I’ve been running a WITP series for about 2 years now, it's been a slowly progressing series because I’ve been featuring it on my YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/thehistoricalgamer) and while I want to play it at a reasonable pace, I also don’t want to make it t...

German AI in BTR

<t> Does the German AI put up a decent fight if you're playing a full campaign as the allies? I get humans might always expect to beat the AI, but would you expect the German AI to manage its economy competently and put up a competent defense? I'm trying to decide if I want to start a series on this...

New Series Questions (AI and Art)

<t> I’m planning a series on this game as the Allies and have a few questions.<br/> <br/> 1. Is the AI able to competently run the Axis economy and AF/s so as to pose a semblance of a challenge to a new player well into 1944? I'm not an expert and I know human opponents are generally needed in big g...

<r> <QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>ORIGINAL: Greybriar<br/> <br/> <QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>ORIGINAL: GaryChildress<br/> <br/> So on the topic of history, how successful (or not) were U-Boats in their efforts to strangle off supplies to Britain? I've heard mixed things about it now. It seems like the classic view ...

RE: U Boat released early access.

<r> While effective at times, Germany came far closer to strangling Britain in WWI than WWII... Germany never was able to replicate their successes of WWI in WWII. They were far better at sinking ships in convoys in WWII but I'd argue Germany was never really that close to winning the U-Boat War in ...

CAP Question

<t> I'm playing a PBEM game vs a human opponent and sending a stronger Force Z into Mersing to hit an enemy landing force. I know it will get detected and probably destroyed via air. The question I have is, if I'm putting Buffalo's into long range cap out of Singapore (I have 48 of them there and 11...

RE: Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich version v1.03!

Am I the only one having issues with performance? The game runs so slow turns take hours to resolve. Is there anyway to fix this? I'm running on a high end Intel i7 CPU with Windows 10.

In this game its very easy. Just get have fighters intercept them and they will be shot down in droves.

That has not been my experience at all!

Anyone have any tips for downing or at least making B-17s ineffective from the Japanese side?

Operation Glacier

<r> Baloogancampaign and myself are going to be doing a WITP: AE PBEM, we're going to setup a website that will show each turn as it happened, 1 turn per day, the PBEM will start airing on December 7th 1941. I'll probably also create a weekly roundup video in addition to the website stuff. Check out...

RE: Boy did Steam or Paradox pull a fast one!!

<t> They did something weird with GTAV also. I noticed it said it was 25% off but still cost $59.99 which was the normal price. Now if you click and go to the store page it said the price was $70 something and it looks like they threw in some online tokens but they basically threw that into the stan...
