I bought TLD under the impression that a patch was available. This was important to me as I also have BoE installed. But, after some help from the main m8 at www.airwarfare.com actually answering an email I sent him inquiring as to the whereabouts of Tankeriv, I recieved this email from Tankeriv:

Dir Sir,

The distribution of Last day beta patch 1.06a has been stopped.
This in favor of the development of TLD beta patch 1.07.

My apologies for my late reply.

I have been to Germany last week and have a very busy week right now regarding to my Unix course.

Just a heads up for m8's that are running BoE and wanting to install TLD. It shouldn't affect anyone else I wouldn't think. But for those of us running BoE, I believe it will be worth the wait.

not sure I understand, do you have the last couple of BOE patches that came out ?

there was a patch for the conflick between BOE and TLDs released, that is not the beta patch that Tank is talking about

(as a side note, the BOE 4.00 patch has a newer version of the DGEN in it then the IL-2/PF 4.00/4.01, so that should be installed just for the DGEN, or reinstalled as BOE patch came out before the IL-2 patch)

Sorry I haven't checked back in for a while because I was under the impression Tankeriv was going to be busy till the end of the month.

Let me explain. I am under the impression the there is a conflict between BOE and TLD and that the patch that Tankeriv will release takes care of this. Am I wrong? And also, the only patch for BOE I have ever heard of was the first patch they released and the night skins patch. Is there another? And does this other patch release for BOE takes care of the conflict between BOE and TLD? Man I hope so because I can go get the BOE patch and install TLD right away. It has been just sitting on my hd in its zip file for three weeks. Please let me know what is what m8. And thanks so much for the help!

goto the IL-2 forum, then do a search for Starshoy, it should bring up a number of his posts or posts asking him about things, then open BOE 4.oo upgrade

Hi Starshoy,

Thanks for the patch. Everything working OK except that all Allied (in the ETO) stationary aircraft are still recieving Russian markings. Massive mess. Is that happening to anyone else? Would that be a DGEN issue?

I believe he says later in the post that this patch covers every thing from other BOE patches but the night skins

and as I thought it was a hassle with the DGen between the two programs, this should fix it

(if you can't find it, I got a copy of the BOE patch)

do you have the PF/ 4,01 patch ? installed ??

as I said before, the BOE Dgen is newer then the PF 4.01 Dgen, so you will want that one installed last

not sure what the status of the Beta TLD patch, last I seen the 1.06 was pulled waiting for 1.07 to be released

Give me some time.

The TLD 1.06a is a beta patch.
No release patch.

I released it only so people could report bugs in it.
I knew a bit like all that's wrong in it by now.

And took al lessons learned into 1.07.

I have been a bit constrained in time due to my Unix course.
Now that could happen isn't it?

The patch offers a huge ammount of extra's now may I have some time for that?

People that know me, know I won't do rush jobs.
It takes some time but it sure is worth it.

Look I do my best and actually some more than that.

Could we have an update on this patch? Also while wating for 1.07 or whatever is there a way to get previous patches? Also I was wondering is there a way to tame down some of the campaigns? I have a pretty good rig but the amount of aircraft in some of the missions along with the Berlin map brings my system to its knees!

I believe the patch is out of tankers hands

X1 is the hold up

for the number of planes, do you have any of the side programs that makes changes to the program ?

most times you can have numbers set to small, normal or large

(I believe there is a line in the Config file that can set this)

odd, game now installs for me, did not on dd used disk nd that part worked, now I am getting either a unit/scaudren missig or other errors.. so I went to above link and they only have patch 1.1, what happened to all the ones through 1.7? what a cluster

I think you are seeing the beta patches, when it was final, it then became 1.1

while we were working though the changes the beta number was changeing, once it was ready, the number was changed to 1.1
