Trading - a few questions from a newbie

Hello,

I am yet to finish my first game (taking it veery slowly counting at 30 hours now) and a few questions arisen concerning trading between empires.

1. How can I check from whom I import a specific resource? Is there a way to check the costs and or or profit (exporting) for that specific empire? I would like to compare limiting and opening trading in such cases.
2. How can I see which goods are imported?
3. Will trading via limited treaty bring more profits in comparison to free trade if I don't import from the specific empire?
