Anyone around playing 1.4?

I have located that version of game, but right now I don't have time to take a look at it. When I'm done with school tests, I get back on Total Warfare and after that I might play either SPWAW or Titans of Steel 1.4. But I would like to have some info first.

Are there single player scenarios?

When compared to Classic BattleTech and MegaMek, what exactly are different? What are common?

Are there any other combat units besides Titans?

Sure it had and I even gave testrun for game as instructed in tutorial section of manual. Now I would like to know what's new in Warring Suns: equipment (any tanks?), plot (reviews say something about mercenaries), general gameplay differences to ToS 1.4 (is interface any better?) etc.

Severe graphics overhaul. Looks purty!

Single player campaign added, there's actually stuff to do besides blasting opponents. Still plenty of that if you want.
A couple of new weapons; E.M. Pulser and G.M.E. Missles (they lock onto energy signatures, very accurate if they have a shield on.)
There were some bug fixes and other minor changes, but if you played v1.4 you can come over and still be playing the same game. Only prettier!

I *think* multiplayer code was improved. I haven't had a chance to test it yet. :'(

Hey... Even if I'm posting twice...

I've found a new game... It's in Beta currently. It's based on Classic BattleTech. Similar to MegaMek, and the mods for MegaMek that provide a persistant universe for the battles.

This one, however, has you building an empire and training the mechs that you use to fight with.
