New England Patriots 34
Green Bay Packers 30

Superbowls are usually low scoring, but I believe this one will be an offensive show.

I'd like to see the Chargers beat the Patriots in the playoffs though.

Packers win 28-27 and end the Patriots smug attempt at a perfect season with a last second touchdown pass to Bubba Franks.[8D]
It doesn't make any sense, Admiral. Were we better than the Japanese or just luckier?

New England 38
New York giants 21

I just have a feeling about NY tomorrow. I think it'll be a close game with them and Green Bay, and I have a feeling the Giants pull it off. New england, on the other hand, will probably utterly slaughter San Diego. That wouldn't exactly be a shame, because several Chargers seem to be getting rather big heads right now.

Wow, that was a truly gruesome game in Green Bay. -12 degrees. Both teams deserve credit for enduring that one... and in overtime to boot! :)

I would have preferred the Packers, but the Giants earned it. :)

I imagine you are right on this, although you have to admit, Phillip Rivers seems to be turning in to a bit of a douchebag right now. Even some of his teammates seem to be tiring of it (in a few interviews with LT, he doesn't seem to be loving Phil's new attitude). I'm actually going to be quite curious to see if Rivers, who hasn't blown me away yet, can handle the pressure next year. Not only are there going to be big expectations for the team, but for the first time, they will also exist for him personally. With Chambers there from day one, Jackson having a full season starting under his belt, Parker back from his injury, and Gates and LT there, people are going to be looking for a big year from Phil.

Anyway, as for this year, what was with Green Bay's playcalling?! You can't have every damn receiver running long bomb routes every single play and expect to win!
