In tunisia, the british army will be destroyed by surronding it in Gabes. Tunis will fall quickly after that. The french fleet has lost some important vessels in their attempt to control the central med. Some diplomatic efforts will be conduct to have finland join the axis.
Mussolini and Hitler feels more confident and decide to go out for a dinner in Paris !

After one month of battles on the east front, none of the objectives of the wermacht has been reached...the soviet did some withdrawal, Odessa and Kiev are half surrounded. The panzers are 100 miles from Leningrad. The kriegsmarine had to sail back to Kiev. In Tunisia, Churchill has given the order to evacuate Sfax and build a new line of defense south of Tunis.
The 9 december 1941, Hitler gives the order to cease the operations in the east...the winter conditions are terrible, the german units try to dig the frozen ground, hoping that the soviet armys are too weak to counter attack.
On the other side of the earth, Pearl Harbor has been attacked the 10th November 1941, a day of infamy...
There are only one remaining uboot hunting the atlantic...

From December to the end of January, some important events occured, not on the field but,
USA declared war to the axis alliance the 10th of December 1941, Greece joined the allies the 17th of January. It sounds that Germany and Italy may lose the initiative this coming year. Germany has better units but did not build enough planes to contest the air superiority of the Allies and spent nothing on research the last year. With Greece entering the war, Italy is in danger, planes of the royal air force are attacking Italian vessels in the central med.

Until The 10th of March 1942 nothing much happended. Americans have sent many units, in England and in North Afrika. The allies factorys are building thousands of new planes. 4 stategix wings are bombing the reich, 4 tactical ones are based in Tunisia and their strikes stopped the Italian advance to Tunis. In the East those past two months have been very calm. Both sides have reinforced the front but the wermarcht seems very powerful. Hitler has lost the uboot war, all the economy is building panzers, truks, assault guns. Some strong units have been concentrate in the west, ready to be rail anywhere in case of an US-British invasion. The front in Greece is quiet, bulgarian units have crossed the border but did not attack.

The terrible winter is over, there is still snow but the conditions are good enough to launch several offensives toward Leningrad.

In the rear of the front, south of Leningrad, three soviet tank corps move forward and fill the gaps. The soviet front line seems stronger.

In two weeks, all the soviet front has been broken down ! It's amazing, I thought that the dice were rolled for the axis and it seems that now USSR is in great danger ! The allies will have to open quickly a second front in France and lend lease more PP to the soviet union. I really thought that the game was over but Germany has reached "new doctrine level 4 by the 9th of March !
Here is the first attack of the US army !

The allies had plan a slow conquest of North Afrika and for 1943, amphibious assault on the north of France but they have now to open urgently a second front during the summer 42. Paratroopers are in place but need practice. Two armys are ready near Southampton and London. In tunisia, the US army help with 5 tactical wings have made some victorys and the Italian's had to withdraw to Gabes. One british army is pushing toward Bengazhi.
