Finally off work and have been trying to download the K'talan Mod the is no file anymore. Wished i was quicker on the mouse......that was what she said!...

Sorry, I deleted the old files, and had updated the newest one, taking it out also and replacing it. Post #1 has the current link, I think I will post that back up in the 1st post, very confusing!

A fellow had this the other day, he was using Firefox. I believe he had to disable the pop-up blocker, and allow cookies and make sure javascript is enabled. Sorry this is such a hassle, I have no other option for delivery! I'll try to find the thread.

From the Korean War Mod thread- My fellow wargamers - I was able to use Mozilla Firefox to download Korean War mod so kindly made available by Mike Amos - I had to disable some Firefox add-ons including Ad Blocker Plus - this allowed a separate window on the RapidShare website to appear that allowed me to register myself on the site - once registered I was able to complete the download ! Hope this will help all of you having problems with downloads even if you are using other browsers. Merry Christmas to All ! Happy Holidays as well !

By chance are you using some sort of download manager? I think RS doesn't like those either?

Install Instruction
open zip file
drag and drop JTCS_SV Folder to anywhere you wish
Open Folder
Open Pdf in the root of folder

Hello, tech issue with the Ktalan Mod. D/l and installed, can launch the exe no issues but when I launch either one of the two scenarios, the game crashes and i get a "248 error" message?
Oddly though, I can open up both scenarios in the editor with no issues at all.....
Could the install path matter? What I did was made a folder called "ktalan" in the main game directory ( ie side by side with the EF WF RS folders) and extracted into that....
so it looks like this C:\John Tiller's Campaign Series\ktlan\Matrix Games\John Tiller's Campaign Series\K'talan WF
( i know, silly way to do it and takes 6 xtra clicks to get to the exe but I dont think that path would matter)

Any thoughts?

That is a missing dll file, which is most likely indeed because of your structure. They don't like to run if not under the Matrix Games\John Tillers Campaign Series\K'talan WF!! That structure, aside from the K'talan, is what is in the registry, so that's where it looks for it. I have probably 20 installs under mine!! I had tested out the rapidshare korean download by unzipping it on another drive under just Matrix Games\Korean War. Just tried it, 486 error!!

Hey man, well although my mod is based on Harry turtledoves lizards, in my mod the aliens are a humanoid species!! I'm attaching a brief on my mod. Over at the blitz ar many updates and scenarios available!!
