I have really tried to love this game, but find it really unplayable & confusing against A1...
is this just me?
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others.

Have you played any other AGEOD games?
It took me time to get my head around them I must say, but when you do there are hours of enjoyment in their titles.
