Team info on Soldier screen

Close Combat: Gateway to Caen is the latest release in the critically-acclaimed Close Combat series and focuses on the largest, concentrated British offensive since the Normandy landings in an attempt to penetrate the German lines west of Caen and cross the Odon River to get the stalled advance moving again.

Team info on Soldier screen

What happened to the useful team info (name, icon, status color and 'health heads') that used to be displayed on the upper left of the Soldier screen? Sometimes its hard to tell what type of team youre looking at. eg. the icons for Rifle and Bren tms on the selection bar at the bottom are so similar that I have to scan the weapons pix to see if there is a Bren or not.

They were removed to simplify the UI during the re-design for the 32-bit color versions of the game. The team icon is still shown in the button list of teams, which indicates what type of team you have selected.

I'd fail a CC unit icon recognition test miserably. The team name in text is much better, especially if youve gone thru the effort to rename your tms.
