8.40am end of CSA turn report, the Confederate army waits and holds as the federal army approaches the fort and tried to assault it, next turn will either be heavy fighting or a faint or probe or change of direction so i sit and wait as all the cards have been used and played, my hands are tied and now i must wait and see my plans unfold, hopefully how i want them to be.

I send out scouts and check the flanks, and still nothing heard from my cav scouts either, mind you no reports means no action.

9.20am end of CSA turn report, the Confederate army keeps up the pressure and rallies it men in the fort and holds it position against the onslaught the federal army throws it's way, i send out 3 scout units and again have nothing to report, no enemy found.

Jenkins Brigade take the brunt of the fighting in the fort, with support from the guns they hold, but there morale starts to fall.

10.40am as the withdrawal goes in to full swing the fighting quietens down and the long march of my reinforcements along the Yorktown road gets a boost with issuing a brigade speed command to them.

10.40am end of CSA turn report, as i rush to bring in Pickett's Brigade and change orders from my men to rally mode and try and rest and recover them while the US retreat. I send out again 3 sets of scouts to look for the other side at both the flanks and check on the movement of the units fleeing the fort attack.

11am again i get a boost of speed with my reinforcements along the Yorktown road, as again i get a divisional boost of speed point to spend and use it there, while more of my men in that area unlock and will be available next turn to also bring in to the fray with Birney's Brigade arriving.

The Slow withdrawal from fighting at the fort gets my units out of harms way and i change there orders to rally while i wait for my next set of reinforcements to help me take the fort, some units either failed to get the message of it wasn't understood so failed to move away from the fort and was kept in harms way a while longer, so i will need to re do there commands again next turn if i wish to keep them in the fight.

11.20am, Birney's Brigade gets bogged down in the rain and mud on the Yorktown road, there's just too many units using one road now and that is making it really slow going to bring up supplies and reinforcements at anything other than a snails pace atm.

While at summer HQ camp, Hancock's 1st Brigade unlocks and goes off on it's long march to cub creek dam and tries to scout out the right flank and attack the fort from there.

All my units withdrawing at the fort and retreated and placed in to rally mode to recover while they find better ground to hold while the rest of the Brigades are brought up.
