I really hope they use that style for the human ships too. I've always been a fan of the Newtonian physics ship designs.

It looks SO good. SO so so good.

Just the sheer cleanliness, the ambience and vibe that the teaser trailer radiates. The music, the overall feel and art. Even the font in the video! It all works to present such a satisfying, refined aesthetic. This alone—all of the extra time, love, and energy invested into how things are presented—it gives me hope, it makes me excited!

I for one am looking forward to this more "finished" experience Distant Worlds 2 appears to have, probably more so than anything else that DW2 has to offer. This all really feels like a proper game.
