Watch an old fashioned slapstick comedy for help in that department!

That is one gorgeous guitar. Could never afford a Gibson ES 175 (3,000-25,000), I may have to just settle on an Ibanez LGB-30 which is more in my price range.

i remember purchasing an es335 (sunburst) around 2001 at the 'guitar center' in san jose, ca. it was a big expenditure for me, but worth it. :) that was the same store that (reportedly) steve wozniak went to, but no woz sightings.

Very cool!

I picked up an Ibanez John Schofield model JSM-10 (similar to an ES 335) for 1 grand. I have 2 Strats and a Les Paul. I love all my guitars by I play my Strats the most.

I traded in my guitar pick in 2009 for (teaching myself) the piano and notation after a short sprint with classical guitar notation. i found an excellent book series by frederick noad but decided to give up the guitar. i still study it, but with notation. I just play 'virtually' now. (no more blisters, yeh!)

I started playing guitar 44 years ago, I can't play anything on the PC lol, but give me a real instrument and I am good to go. After the first few years you don't even notice the calluses anymore.

thanks zovs, and good luck w/ your playing! I guess my first 'guitar hero' was mark farner from grand funk and that was b/c my older brother used to play their albums. this was in the mid-seventies. after that it was ace frehley and then jimmy page. there's a lot of good rock music from that era. best wishes to all.
