Thank you ! But for now - I am produced only 10% of all 80s Modern War units - needs some months to finish it.

These all look amazing, I'm very impressed!

Love the model, but just a small comment - the symbol on the door of the truck is purely an airforce roundel, its used on planes only, not on ground units afaik.

A simple red and white rectangular symbol (like the polish flag) would be better. Even more accurate would be a 3 letter and 4 digit code, in white letters, as here:

No - many polish pictures of the 80s shows exactly this symbol - Sorry, but you're wrong !!!
Also I trained together with polish troops in my own NVA time at 1988 - and they had all the same sign on his Trucks and Jeeps !
Note my modifikations plays in the 80s - not today - in which the Polish army is slave of NATO aggressions. Long live Wojciech Jaruzelski - an real hero of polish nation !

Oh yep, I take it back. Ineed, was used by tank divisions 1960-1993.

Overlal the mod ide ais great, the units look even better. As for the uniforms, Polish 2nd rate infantry would indeed have the "raindrop" (wzór 58 Deszczyk) camo pattern, but by the 80s most other units (Paratroopers, most 1st line units) would already have the "wzór 68 Moro" camo pattern.

http://camopedia.org/index.php?title=Poland

again sorry for nitpicking, I sincerely love the mod.

Also are SKOT APCs and UAZ trucks planned?

Is that more exactly ? Should Used also for the Paratroops and Naval Assault Infantry ???
Polish Motorized Rifles 80s (wzór 68 Moro)

I used the Osprey paintings of all 80s reconstruction - there they show my camo style. But I dont know - its hard to find some coloured pics.

Which rogatywka is the correct camo style for the 80s - also yours or my old Osprey behind-requested ?

UAZ 452d (Used mainly for the Paratroop brigade or ?)

SKOT APCs are in work !

By the 1980s, the Wz 68 Moro pattern was used by virtually all "standing army" units. The deszczyk pattern was already obsolete. The deszczyk pattern was mostly used in the 1960s. They started shifting to a moro pattern in the 70s and by the 1980s, the shift was afaik complete.

Having said that, in case of a large "world war 3 style" mobilization, some reserve and rear units would still get the desczyk uniforms out of warehouses etc, due to a lot of them being available. So if you plan to have any reserve or "3rd wave mobilization" (aka NATO code quality "C" units), then those could very well still have the deszczyk.

As for the rogatywka, here's a photo of a rogatywka from the 1980s:
http://www.koszary.pl/_sklep/produkt-2714,oryginalna_rogatywka_polowa_lwp_moro.html#

For photos, you can check this old (already expired) ebay sale of a moro army jacket:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OLD-Polish-ARMY-MORO-Jacket-BLOUSE-wz-1968-POLAND-RARE-1968-1989-mod-4652-/171049149107
Jacket image:

Caps:
http://tablica.pl/oferta/bechatka-wojskowa-moro-wz-68-CID87-ID1L4Wj.html
(scroll down at the website to see)

Generally the dark patches are very small and from a distance this blends into a pretty "solid" color.

As for paratroopers, by the late 80s they started changing from the wzór 68 moro to a Puma-Zaba pattern.
Here's how the Puma pattern looks like:
http://static.myvimu.com/photo/03/5770323_l.jpg
http://img585.imageshack.us/img585/6599/mmimage3.jpg

Overall the dark patches on the puma pattern are much larger than on the moro and more rounded.

The UAZ trucks were used in a huge number of roles, military and non-military. Border troops, military police and chemical troops were among the most common ones that used it. Military hospitals and medical services also used it widely.

In the early 90s the entire army was going to be shifting to the Puma-Zaba pattern, but in the 80s only a handfull units got them. I believe that the "Red Beret" Paratroopers of the (6th Pomeranian Paratrooper Division) were the first ones taht received it.
I can't find the exact data (Late 80s early 90s are a particularly chaotic and turbulent time in the Polish army), but from what I gather the 1st Assault Battalion (Commando unit) and the "Blue Beret" (7th Lusatian Marine Division) were not given this uniform before 1990.

As a fun fact - the Wzór 89 Puma/Zaba pattern lasted only 4 years and started to be removed in 1993. Basically it was found to have the same problems as the Moro - the patterns blend togeather from a distance giving a "solid green" impression.

I will use Wzór 89 Puma/Zaba only for paratroops and the wzór 68 Moro for all other units. 2nd line units have than the old green. The only problem now is that the most polish units with wzór 68 Moro uniforms looks grey in my scale like the UAZ 452d UC - you see the black pattern only a little bit in the unit card.

Well, you have certainly did a good job, since it seems you have faithfully re-created the same problem these camo patterns had in reality. The dark parts were so small, taht from a distance it blended into a smooth color. The color itself was also both too dark and too pale to do a great job in Polish terrain.

Puma/Zaba was slightly better in color, but still too smooth and too dark. This is why the wzór 93 had to be implemented so quickly.
