3.4 PBEM - Can't open 'Replacements and Inventory'

I've run into a problem with PBEM under 3.4 - i can't open the Replacements and Invenory window. In Hotseat i can.

I've already tested certain situations as it first did occur when me and my Opponent switched from 3.2 to 3.4 in an ongoing PBEM game. But 3.2 has nothing to do with it, it also occurs when a PBEM is started in 3.4. Language setting and Equipment.eqp has nothing to do with it (tried several cases where a PBEM is started in a certain language and the language is later switched with an w/o Equipment.eqp).

And the playback doesn't inform about how many moves we're going to see.

The Replacement/Inventory window also won't open when trying it via the "View" drop-down menu
The amount of moves in playback are shown to me however

Just in case we are going into this, maye the game could skip playback events where no rcon is to see? For games like Fite and Piero this would be wonderful 'cause there are almost 3-8k to watch all the time

Some people like to see those, however. I'm not sure why, but...

Replacement window now opens, but you can no longer set the unit replacement rate during PBEM<That was the problem, I disabled the wrong routine>
You will now see the info line in the tooltip during playback.

Any chance for a quick fix?
It really puts a stop on any PBEM game, too bad was about to start one.
