Hi ALL. Soviets spent this turn building up it's anti-ship abilities. Two little advances against the Chinese but otherwise no real news. Continue the nearly unopposed advance in India. Introduced a new tank version (T34m43) to the troops who welcomed it.

Thanks everybody for your support and encouragement. And good luck to the new leader of the Anglo/French coalition.

I really made a ton of beginners mistake since I did not really know the mod and assumed that AT-Gold tactics would work here too. They don't really.

I would have continued if there wasn't a brave volunteer to take over the mess I created.

Thank you Haudrauf1962, yes GD1938 AND Vanilla ATG are very different animals one of the reasons I try and avoid playing the AI and the Vanilla version of ATG is that human players never play like the AI and two you have to hold a set of combat calculations and possible outcomes in your head, if you forget what version you are playing it can cost you a battle or two and possibly a campaign. Anyway don't give up, its just the learning curve blues.

This is the first newscast from the Soviets Today. Our reporters have been embedded in many of the Soviet armies.

2 March 1942

Tokyo and the chemical factory are both reduced to zero production. The USA and her allies are beginning to look at the huge conflict on the Eurasian landmass. Our enemies are very strong, and nothing has been easy, nor will it be.

The Kreigsmarine is making its presence felt. We even killed some Japanese subs this month. 1942 may see the resumption of naval war.

The last German turn I played was turn 55 next turn should be turn 56, the German turn that has been placed as the current is turn 51 and it is a old turn.

Thanks Falco Italy turn is in the box.

The unpleasant business of denuding British cities of their production capability continues, this could stop today if the British accept defeat, unconditional surrender is all Germany requires.

Ironduke 1955, I think you mistakenly placed the game 23 Italian turn in the game 24 folder. Could you replace it in the correct folder please.

Russia takes Calcutta and Chengtu plus some other terrain without cities. Cleared area north of Kabul so the 15th Army is now clear to move to the Indian/Persian coastline. I think the taking of Chengtu enfilades the Chinese line.

Someone put in a turn that is mislabeled. It says Soviets but the password required is Japanese???????????!!!!!!! I've renamed it in the dropbox. Waiting "patiently" for the SOVIETS turn--well as patiently as I can.

Patients rewarded. Turn done.

Russia continues attacking but no real progress except the killing of enemy. Artillery and air attacks in preparation for further attacks against enemy positions. 14th Army which is in build up mode has been slowed due to supply problems.

Just a heads up I am out of the country for a couple of week, so internet will be of the hotel variety so my turns may come a bit spotty.

Russia continues. Captured the eastern Indian city of Becca (spelling). And penetrated the line a little. First Army continues to move to it's new area of concern. Fifteenth Army is moving to it's new positions. The 14th Army is being disbanded due to supply issues and it's existing divisions were reassigned to 15th Army. It's HQ elements were returned to Supreme HQ where they will be redeployed to whichever HQ needs them the most.

The United States and her allies continue to resist, with a gain here and there. The city/port of Seoul was taken by assault with losses on both sides.

The dynamics of fuel use are playing a large part now as oil hungry war machines grow.

The United States engaged the Soviets this month. Vladivostok was bombed and visited by Marine raiders. The Soviets had inherited the naval assets of Imperial Japan, but these are gone now. The last of the IJN was sunk without a sortie under the Red Flag. Vladivostok is currently undefended and the US may consider something beyond a raid. In any case Vladivostok no longer supplies the Red Army.

In Korea the US forces identified some Soviet forces of observation near Seoul and shooed them away.

In China proper the US Army is fighting alongside the Chinese, and cooperation protocols are being established. This is a very large theater, but the USA hopes to bring more forces to bear. The Soviets have a large Army and logistics may be a challenge.

The Soviets reinforced Vladivostok this month. The Marines landed elsewhere, and our airstrike in the area went to an airfield behind the lines.

American armor entered Port Arthur.

Italian submarines are active in the Indian Ocean. This has been a quiet area, but no more.
