Center done.
Western Front tries to establish some sense of control on Berezina river. Other than that it is "run to the hills...run for your life.." [8D]

That is weird. The email adress you sent to me in PM has access to the STAVKA folder. Did you send the right one?

Comrade Commander: we managed to open the pocket near Lvov and establish a supply route. During this action we were able to cut off a german Tank division. Unfortunatelly the encirclement of the smaller Kovel Pocket could not be broken.

@Sardaukar: I need a new one as well, because I not even had one before turn 1.
I think we need to organise things better so we can play through our turn faster. We need to standardise things a little bit. Ideas:
Everyone needs to share an E-Mail adress who he checks at least once per day. I for example get a notification on my smartphone.
Hortlund gets the turn and posts here in the Forum a screenshot in the standardised style he started with+orders for the commanders. Then he writes a short E-Mail notification to the three front commanders.
Now, a front commander takes the turn and writes an E-Mail notification to all players that he has begun. When he is finished, he leaves another E-Mail notification that he is done.
This repeats until everyone has moved. There should be no strict order in which order we do our turns, the first one who has time/reads the Mail does his turn first to save time.
On this way we avoid that two players do the turn at the same time so one has to redo it+we exploit time zone differences+by doing the notifications by E-Mail we keep the thread here clean from five words posts so it is more pleasent to read for us&spectators.
We should also have a convention for naming the turns in the dropbox. I suggest:
STAVKA T12 NC done=Soviet turn 12 north and center are done and
STAVKA T16 CS done=Soviet turn 16 center and south done
It might appear to be a bit exaggerated on the first look, but I think standardisation and some helpful conventions will help a lot to avoid confusion.
Opinions? Are the E-Mail addresses you use for dropbox the ones you regularly check?
Having a high return frequency is important to keep the interest in such a project

Guys the games on steam now and theres functionality on the slitherine site as well. think one of you needs to approach the twits at matrix and have them create a multi player console. If youre going to start a project lke this do it in hand with the developers.
RE: STAVKA - 8 player multiplayer Soviet thread
I think Sov NorCentSouth would do with turn number?
