a nasty little fire, even more so, since the enemy had Assult armor

but my guy in the hut with a shotgun did major damage, most his shots bouncing off the ground and then tearing into the bad guys

Yeah, the magic ricochet shotgun seems to be much more effective than when at point blank and no ground to bounce off of.
