No text after 1.05 patch

After patching the game to 1.05, I was getting the "Range Check Error", so I reinstalled again and patched (which had fixed the previous versions).

After re-installation, am no longer seeing any text on the in game menu. Other graphics are showing, just no text of any kind.

Hi, I've been trying to duplicate this and I'm not having much luck could you give me a DirectX diagnostic file to take a look at? It might help me track down where the problem is.

I just took a quick look for the Radeon 9800 series and it looks like there is a new display driver dated Jan 16, 2008 have you tried that new driver? The DirectX Diag looks like you have an older driver there for the video (7/27/2007).
