After one second of game time and after you select the difficulty, more triggers appear. This one looks broken. Perhaps a localization issue, like comma vs period delimiter for time or something.
The boogabooga doctrine for CMO: Any intentional human intervention needs to be able to completely and reliably over-ride anything that the AI is doing at any time.

It is reproducible in your scenario, so very good to fix it, I guess. Just run the game, select complexity and close + resume the 2 messages.

Then scenario minimap and the game crashes. The time has to be progressing for it to happen, and also happens with the global one.

For some reason the camera minimap displays a grey background.

Perhaps it is because of the distant US base?

Update using v1459

The scenario minimap crashing CMO still happens systematically in this scenario.

However it is solved with the global map.

The camera minimap still shows a grey background.
