RE: Once the Japanese AI captures the SRA and the Solomons/Port Moresby does it do anything else???

<t> one thing though is, what can the AI really do once everything historically captured (and plus port moresby) is captured. even the original japanese plan did not call for anything else to be captured, if i recall correctly. japan does not have the resources to capture anything else save maybe mo...

<t> does the airgroup have a slash/number behind them? if the Lexington was damaged too bad, the airgroup could have flown to another carrier and only the damaged ones stayed on the Lady Lex. then they are trying to combine from there. i go to the airgroup listings when something like this happens t...

RE: Asiatic Fleet HQ

<t> like i said, i totally agree with you and i know for a fact that people due grab 1 day load worth of troops and move them to OZ. and i also know that they rebuild fairly quickly, (a few months) my concern is if a unit is getting hammered because i did a poorly planed invasion. i have to rush re ...

RE: Couple questions

i have seen people that i think know what they are talking about say that if you put the kates at a lower alt, they will use more torps. i have absolutly no idea if that is right, though, because every game i have played as Japan has been PRY's so it starts DEC 8th

RE: Yes, PH attack is borked. Some test data...

<t> i've always felt that the PH results were basically irrelevant anyway. i have had a couple of games where i got off light, what did it get me?? some sunk BB's later. they are too slow to bombard and get hammered 2 days before they could even see their target. they do come in handy in the GC/PM f...

<t> the thing is, this game should not be balanced in the way Risk is. in WW2, there is nothing,...nothing that Japan could have done to acually win that war on the battlefield. there is a reason why Japan lost...it is not that Japan had a very bad plan (militarily), it is that they were out produce...
